Anti-social Forces

To prevent harm from anti-social forces—organized crime groups, their members and affiliated businesses, corporate racketeers, groups posing as social activists, and specialized intelligence-based violence groups, among others (collectively, “anti-social forces”) that threaten the order and safety of civil society—and to conduct sound business, AI Network Solution Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) hereby declares the following basic policy.

1. Organization-wide Response

The Company responds to anti-social forces as an entire organization, led by its representatives, and ensures the safety of the officers and employees who handle such matters.

2. Severing All Relationships

The Company maintains no relationship of any kind, including business dealings, with anti-social forces. If it unknowingly enters into a relationship with one, it promptly severs the relationship once the counterparty is found to be an anti-social force.

3. Refusing Improper Demands

The Company takes a firm stance against improper demands by anti-social forces and resolutely refuses them. Even where such demands arise from misconduct in business activities or by employees, the Company engages in no behind-the-scenes deals to conceal the facts.

4. Prohibition of Funding and Favors

The Company provides no funds, favors or other benefits to anti-social forces, under any pretext whatsoever.

5. Coordination with External Specialist Bodies

In preparation for improper demands by anti-social forces, the Company maintains close ties with external specialist bodies such as the police, violence-eradication movement promotion centers and attorneys, and responds in an organized manner—including legal action—when necessary.

6. Contractual Measures

In its contracts with business partners, the Company includes organized-crime-exclusion clauses and, if a partner is found to be an anti-social force, takes necessary measures such as terminating the contract.
